Anyone seen leaves grow together

No, this is not Cannabis- It's a Velvet queen sunflower. But I am wondering if anyone has seens leaves grow into one another like this before, or is it the LED's deforming them ;-)

Nope, never seen it with leaves. I've done with stems/branches to do a kind of graft for certain tree's (Avocado). Plants to odd things to get started though...
 
yeah just a genetic mutation. wont do anything but make the plants look funny
 
well since we are kind of off topic here on wierd sh!t, have you guys seen the transgender man that is pregnant? Thats freaking weird because he is now been married to this woman for several years but he is the one pregnant........I think I would rather see mutant leaves than a sheman giving birth!!!!

LOL serious Joe, it's some unknown radiation, genetically altering all living things it touches!

It's strange, but I have never grown a sunflower, so who knows.. :-) We will be able to tell soon though, I planted a bagseed in there and it popped this morning. That's the last picture there. They are all on 12/12 now :-0

Off topic? How's this: When I was a kid, my folks told me that if a man ever had a baby, the government and the media would make him a billionaire....could be true. (?)

Oh yeah, Boss, I had a tomato plant do that, once.
 
He is a she. And it will be just a wonderful thing when that kid comes out deformed because of all of the hormones that man/woman has been taking over the years. She has a beard, and she had her boobs removed. She still has all her female organs. So this is not a man having a baby, it's a woman, on male hormones having a baby. Somthing we could consider child abuse.
