Anyone experience this? 88 days flowering?

I'd say 85-90% of hairs are red 2/3 of the plant, only the tiny buds at the bottom have white, hairs are growing back into the buds. Just took this pic, it's under HPS, that's why the funky color, look at the buds growing tits/spiraling out.. the hairs in the pic look white, that's the lighting, they are red/orange.

This is a bud off one of the tiger tails, it's not the cola.

Sour Diesel 88 days flowering.

Anyone experience this???

My holy grail og's are doing the same...there on day 84 and most of the hairs turned orange and receded as well as the calyx's got super fat, and then it started bursting out clumps of white hairs...and my trichomes are still mostly clear, some cloudy... its supposed to be a 10.5 week'r but im well past that and she's still going... I've tried adjusting my light schedule as well as raising up my lights to try to simulate the fall sun, but still they want to keep on popping white pistols... any way to speed up the process... I've been giving them very little nutrients and almost all amendments such as humic/fulvic acids, carbs and water...

are they a Sativa dominant strain??? if so... then they can flower for 10 - 12 weeks

Yes, sativa dominant. I harvested her at 91 day's/13 weeks in to flowering, fact is I only harvested half the plant and put the other back under the light, that's where it is now...

Yes sativas do this it's called foxtail. I've grew a few haze plant and they just keep budding in their long flower time. When you think its coming to an end it carries on , they just keep throwing tails out. Its normal though and shows the end of flowering is getting close. But still go by tric colour. Here's mine at the min started to do the same.

Usually when they start to foxtail like that they are getting close to harvest....word

Although you and this article you speak of are true!!! there are other factors other than just the pistols receding into the buds... along with that, you must look at the trichomes!!! it's based on the growers wants, needs, or preferences!!! some people like their trics to be more on the cloudy side and some people prefer the full ripeness of the flower and want it more ambers than cloudy!!! like myself, I go for the most Amber I can get!!!

Yes...I agree that there are more factors involved...but that is ONE factor. I like my trics cloudy w a touch of amber...but not too much. Peace!
