Any updates on Harvest Right drier?

Greetings,

A friends wife surprised him with a Harvest Right, she's a good farm girl and thinks this will help with her garden produce ;)

He has other ideas, he, he...

Thinking I might offer some of my soon to be harvested Amnesia Auto for a test....

Has anyone come up with a cannabis specific schedule ?

And a taste test ?

Cheers

I wish I could play around with one of those.
@LKABudMan has used and documented what it's like.

Short update.

My friend ran a small test of my Amnesia Auto buds through his machine.

44g wet in, 11g dried out. I thought it would be less ?

12 hours at the lowest drying temp of 45 degrees.

Anywho, the finished smell and appearance is the same as fresh off the plant !

He left one bud in an open baggie overnight and reports the Smoke is Smooth :bongrip:

Will get to try it myself later this week. He is going to seal the finished product in mylar bags immediately after they are processed.

I use my medium size harvest right for all my harvest lately. I think I found my sweet spot with trays set to 55f and a dry time between 13.5-14.5hrs, depending on bud density. I tried my Golden Tiger a few weeks at 40f and the cure wasn’t there, but has gotten much more intense in the 2 weeks since. No burping of my jars, just let them sit. I find on average my harvests will lose 70-75% of their initial weight, keep the smell and taste, but they are dry when they come out. I tried with my latest harvest of Cinderella 99, by placing the buds in a paper bag and then a plastic sealed tub overnight to get some moisture back into the buds. That method seemed to keep them dry, and was better off with my old method of just a paper bag and sitting in my basement overnight. Pics from C99, Do-Si-Dos, and Golden Tiger
