Re: Any advise would be GREAT!

It looks like you can flower it now but you need to feed it. what questions do you have?

Re: Any advise would be GREAT!

I am new to growing, so I'm not even sure what to ask, and I know that whatever I ask has prob already been answered on another thread.. lol

I'm really not sure of what to feed it or where to get it. I really don't think I have a lot of options for local retail(Walmart & Lowes)

bone, blood meal, look for Tomato Tone, Epsoma, Azomite (I seen this stuff every where). green sand,. fish sea weed are good to. Ace Hardware carries Fox Farm and many small garden shops do as well.

Welcome to 420 Magazine :hookah: Recent studies have indicated that it is in fact the best community filled with knowledgeable and friendly people willing to help you and help answer questions. (lol, my opinion. but i tried like 5 other similar forums before deciding.)

I use happy frog soil mixed with fox farms ocean forest or just happy frog by itself. (I just want that mycorrhizae, which is good bacteria)
mixed with extra worm castings,
espoma blood meal,
espoma bone meal,
epsom salt,
espoma garden lime,
and azomite.
I water with nonsulfer molassas which has potassium (I use this to feed my mycorrhizae)

I like using and having all those organic nutes in there. Also I'm quite sure I could probably feed my plants only clean water from seed to harvest and they would be healthy and never have a nute deficiency because I supplement every nutrient organically. Some people take their soil ever to another level than that, the recipe i used, I actually removed like 5 ingredients from it, look up subcools super soil. I think the supersoil is overkill though. Everything I listed that I currently use supplements every nute a plant needs. If you are new though, like me, I went with all the organics so I could plan my grow before I started and know I wouldn't have to worry about using too much nutrients or deficiency. Plus all organic smoke tastes delishious.

Your plant looks healthy, good job and good luck. Keep up the good work and maybe consider starting a grow journal. You can take pictures of your whole grow and people can help ya all the way through it if you feel like you want additional advice.

My plant has started looking bad, so I ordered a 32 oz. FoxFarm Big Bloom Liquid, and a bag of FoxFarm Ocean Forest Organic Soil. I was just wondering if it would be worth transplanting it. It is 11 inch tall now, and roots are poking out the drainage holes on my 1gal pot.

I see a lot of buds there buddy, keep 'em happy they shall provide :D

I don't use nuts but if you are not familiar with the proper quantities you can really hurt the plant, there is a user KingJohnC he can assist you with nuts… well actually a lot of users here know tons of stuff about nuts.

Peace

Do to financial restraints I am just able to use CFL's at the moment, and I was wondering if anyone
could tell me what type of CFL's are the best to use.(I was just wondering because some of the ones
I've got are really bright white-1400 lumens, while some have a yellowish tint to them(1650 lumens and
seem to get hotter)

Here is one of my cheap light setups lol

bulb light color is measured in kelvin (K)
the higher the K the cooler and blue it is.
i think 4000 K(guessing forgot) is about neutral where it doesnt look blue or white. just
the lower the K the warmer and red it is.
if you are flowering commonly most use red bulbs, im not sure the specific K is the best, but google can help.

red light promotes stretching, blue light promotes tighter node spacing and bigger leafs. also during flower, sodiums (red) make buds get bigger i believe but blue lights can increase resin production. Ive read that some people sometimes use a metal halide (blue) for the end of flower to increase resin production, so from what i understand it can make a more potent bud but it can slightly minimize the yield, i havent tried this yet though, dont know if i would or not.

as far as lumens on those bulbs go, the more lumens the better for a plant unless it is a itty bitty baby then they like little. when you get alot of lumens with HID bulbs, you just gota be careful of heat

I love to mix bulbs. I like what I have seen grown with a 1000w dual arc. the plants genetics accounts for most of what your going to get. red light does get you bigger buds and UV light increases THC.

Right now I am using 4 bulbs (1650 lumens/2700K), one larger cfl that's got 2700 lumens/2700K,
and two more that have 1630 lumens/3500K.

She's been flowering for 30 days so far, and I just gave her a hair cut.
