Another noob just joined

Whats up 420 friends? Just joined and figured I would stop in and say a big HIGH to all from Ontario. Haven't had much experience growing even though I just turned 51 lol. Had a couple good grows and even more epic fails. Hoping to learn and meet some new friends. Here is what I got going right now, just 3 bag seeds to see how the tent will work, day 4 of flower. I just cracked 1 Blueberry and 2 White Rhino so they will be ready when the baggers are done. This was my 1st attempt at supercropping and LST, would love to know how you guys think I did. Right now I have a 2x2x4' tent with a cheap blurple Amazon 100w actual draw LED

Your plants look really really nice, Im super curious did you have to move the lamp away from the canopy at all ? Im trying to see what spectrums of led burn plants at low heights and I see your up above a good bit.

@3fingerdSean welcome and thanks. My LED is 100 watts or so and about 1 foot above my plants and no issues at all.

Just had to move mine back keep mine at 18 inches steady and its cobs and 120 w it was about 14 inches away so they grew 4 inches this week and the new growth is a bit flamed just slightly. May I ask what model lamp your running?

18 maybe 16 inches with cobs is the lowest you want to go and only during flower. I run multiple 100watts and Even at 17in your buds start to get bleached.

No problemo. I consider myself an amateur as well. Hell i dont think you can be considered pro unless youve been in the industry for 20 years. Even then its still developing along with new techniques, its hard to stay up to date some time. Example you buy the number 1 light on the market, and a new one that tops it will come out a month later. I hate that haha

@3fingerdSean it is the Enereco 48 from Big River site, basically a Mars 48 reflector no name knock off. Already said sorry to Sara from MARS. LOL ordered it before joining here or would have just got the MARS. Will make it up to them by buying my next tent/lights from them.

@DankSwagasaurus Yeah sooo many LED choices and new ones pop up all the time.

I checked and the light is actually closer to 16" from the canopy.

Yea you can usually get those lights closer. The cob leds are 5 times stronger than my viperspectra leds so itll bleach and burn leaves at that height easily

Ima pro gardener but just flowers n bushs regular type lol and I got 19 yrs in. I looked at cultivators permit in co. they want like 4k and the retail sales tax just jumped to 15 on mary. And its like looking at the stars at the avail dispensaries.Hell washingtons not even taking apps for culters.
