Amount of Calcium in my water

Some people say that their tap water contains all the calcium their plants need. Others say they need to add calmag to their nutes. How do you know how much calcium is in your tap water and how do you know if that is enough for your plants?

I know there are more expensive tests but I used a pool test strip and it looks like my calcium is in the low range. I know it's hard on the phone but it's definitely Blue and not in the purple range. What's interesting though is that I have calcium deposits all over my faucet tap/ shower head, etc.

How should I tackle this? Thanks

Howdy I wouldn't think there is enough calcium in tap water I myself use gypsum or crushed oyster shells or oyster flour depends on how quick the soil needs it I say soil because I feed my soil not my plants
