Hemp is an unparalleled agricultural commodity with a diverse array of high-value industrial applications, nutritional value, and healing abilities, but it has been illegal to grow it in the United States for over 50 years. This segment of American Farmer will educate audiences on CHP's mission to heal ailing people, benefit our environment, and aid our economy by growing industrial hemp and processing it into a variety of raw materials and an array of ready-for-retail products.
"Cultivation. Innovation. Restoration; is our motto at CHP. " We are pioneers of the US Hemp Industry in this current society. We understand the importance hemp plays in the restoring of our earth and we are here to help see that through, with everything from planting the seed to using the harvested products such as seed, fiber and flower for thousands of sustainable uses.
"Located in Longmont, Colorado, the CHP has exclusive farm with 190 acres with a 20,000 square foot greenhouse dedicated solely to their companies sought out genetics and product development. They started in Sterling CO with 2.5 acres in 2014," said Kelly Fussell, Producer for the American Farmer series. "In addition, the company is planning to construct an acre of greenhouses for the purpose of growing a cultivar known to have a high CBD potency, which they have named 'hope'. We are so excited to educate viewers on the incredible strides the CHP is making for the industrial hemp industry."
