Hello everyone,
I just want to say that I've been checking you guys out from the side lines, learning. You guys are awsome! It's really cool how the experienced growers help the less experienced out.
I will be starting my first indoor grow in a couple of weeks. I'm waiting for my card, I should have it soon! I am having a hard time waiting! It's good though, because I want my shit dialed in when I start.
I have a 5x5x7 (something like that) Grow tent
1-400 watt metal halhide
1-air cooled hood
1-4 site DWC set up (18 gallon res)
2-26 watt 6500 K CFL's (side lighting)
2-26 watt 2700 K CFL's (side lighting
1-4" inline fan for exhaust
1-4"carbon filter
Ducting is ran from filter to hood to fan and then vented thru the ceiling to a roof vent.
Central AC is ducted into tent (not sure if this is a good idea)
It seems that every spare minute I'm either doing some research or buying something!
This is not cheap! I'm having too much fun! I want to do this right!
I am trying to figure out why I'm having heat issues Before I start this grow, it's crazy, and any help would be much appriciated. Temps are fluctuating from about 77 to 87 with the lights on I think it's the CFL's, because the temps were fluctuating between 75 and 81, and they jumped when I added the CFL's.
