How long has she been flowering? Have you been able to see how the trichromes are developing? Looks nice and big though, that's for sure.

its been flowering since about the middle of august and i have no magnifying piece to check the trichs. gonna judge on the pistils turning amber. hopefully be smoking some good shit in a month or two

Should be only a few more weeks I would think, but depends on how you like your meds. Some strains don't get super nuggy, so make sure your not waiting and waiting only for the trichomes to over-mature.

I prefer a upper,sativa ( clear/milky trichome ) high, it is much more heady, so I don't feel to bad about harvesting just a tad early.
Just make sure those trichomes concentrate up some more, and it should be ok without the magnifying glass.

patience, man... that donk looks like she's gonna get FAT in a few... 7wks more, I'd guess-- ALL I c r pistils really... about the same age as mine r now, just 2 days ago mine pushed/stretched out her sun leaves n started to thin herself out-- I'm still on my 1st grow so i'm trying to b keen on the observational standpoint of growing... so i may be OFF, but its not on purpose-- i think. Aloha!

thanks for the replies i dont know about 7 wks? if it takes that long it will get rained on heavy for sure. the biggest buds on the plant are a good 3-5 inches wide so i dont think they are going to be fluffy but who knows cuz it started from bagseed and i have no idea of the strain. im also guessing about 2 more weeks or so should do it. thanks all and have a good smoke!

yeah, shes got more time for sure!!!
And as said, youll be happy you waited 2 weeks or so longer as they do bulk up as they near end of their cycle quite quickly...
And once most pistils are orange and theres lots of trichs ( I like about 20% amber) she should be near on done! But as said depends on how your preference on how you like your smoke, if trichs are cloudy you will have a more heady high, not too baked, but if its left to amber it will be slightly stronger body stone.. Either way all good.. BE PATIENT!! Enjoy them buds... Smokemupm8

Ha! after i posted that-- i had to go back n check how old my plant really IS-- mines (WhiteRhino) showed sex on 8.18.12, which puts me pretty much @ mid flower w/ 3-4 weeks 2 finish-- n so i need 2 go work on me guesstimations...
