I used to use the % of "red hairs" to determine harvest time, BUT,,,,,,, since joining 420, I learned IT'S ALL ABOUT THE TRICHOMES!! I can't tell by your yellowish picture, you need to look though at least 40X magnification to see if your TRICHOMES are optimum colors. It's hard to wait for Amber to appear in your trichomes, but that's what tells you, it's time to harvest. You can see this on your buds with a 5 dollar microscope.
this bud went a little too long, it has maybe 40% Amber trichomes, this will glue me to the couch! just Google "trichomes" and click images, you'll see a chart explaing it better than I. Looks great so far!

yeah..its yellow cause its under sodium lights..this is shot though a 45 power lit eye loupe and a camera..Also I suggest you get a microscope and look at them with 100x's''like I have for 30 years in the fields..and inside..

what power of magnification would you guess this picture shows? 50X? 100? thanks a lot!!

you do great pic's man..I found in the real world..anything over 100x's is no good..I was just playing with my phone and eye loupe this morning cause i got whacked on this new batch and i got board...this pic is shot with my samsung S3..unretouched..I could do all kinds of digital shit to this shot...but i can see them fine...I dont let them go to amber..but the indica..for couch lock...but did you know that white is more of a head buzz and where these ones are is for sleeping..good luck peace and full bowlswhat power of magnification would you guess this picture shows? 50X? 100? thanks a lot!!

taken with a good 14 megapixel super macro camera, I got a 20 dollar usb m-scope that is almost as good as the camera. very hard to get a steady/clear picture.
