AlbertaGrower's OG Kush Auto - The First Grow - 2020

Hey ive decided to start and official journal for my OG Kush grow, This is actually my first grow all together. I've been taking care for some older plants for the past month or so though.

Ive received a couple free early miss seeds from my local supply house, so I might just include those in this journal as well.

Bucket Size - 7 gallon fabric pots, Will be switching to 5gal fabric pots on next grow and early miss grow.
Medium - Promix Hp soiless
Lights - Mars Hydro TS1000, 1000watt, currently turned down to 750watts to prevent burning.
Tent: 5x5x7 Tent with an Air infinity 6" exhaust fan/6" Carbon filter, 6" oscillating fan inside tent.
Nutrients - Gaia Green 4-4-4, bit of worm casting mixed in, CALiMAGic to treat any calmag deficiencies and supplement medium for first week or two. Gaia Green 2-8-4 top dress 3-4 weeks in.
Strain(s) - 3 x OG Kush Auto's (Cannuck Seeds), 2 x Early Miss (Crop King freebies)

Found out my local tap water has a ph of 8.0, This could explain a lot of the issues ive seen in my plants. Got ph down solution and adjusted down to 6.45 after adding in a few teaspoons of CALiMAGic solution. Hopefully we see some good improvements in my small plants, Flushing a few of my older plants in a few days as they are are seeing some nitrogen, calcium and magnesium looking deficiencies and I believe this is due to the soil ph being roughly 8.5ph.

I like my TS1000s for veg also, with 2 I’m pulling about 300watts. I normally use 1 per plant as they are most effective in a 2x2 area at 20” above canopy.

Thats some good info, and 300 watts isnt too bad. im essentially doing scrog on this grow. its kinda whacky right now as there are plants in all different stages in the same tent.

That can make it tough, a rig will definitely help you keep those tips as close to level as possible.

I have netting just havent installed it yet. most likely will do it this weekend once I flush my other plants i think.

PH'd my water down to roughly 6.4 and added a tiny bit of calmag and it seems to have let all the plants really take off. Pots are a little bit too big for this auto flower but thats alright.
