Advice for a LST project

Hi, dear growers,
I have my first ongoing LST project and i would appreciate any opinion you may provide me with.
Both plats are 8-9 weeks old; they had 250w for the majority, a week ago i changed it to 400 hps ; have been repotted once and were a bit tramatized; after they recovered i started the lst and also did defloration few times; soil is organic. 60% bio bizz light and 40% perlite, humus, worm castings, palm ash, fish shit, guano, mycoses, a bit of halo and freenhouse grow nutrients.
Any input would be highly appreciated

That Thin String you are using can cut into the stems as they grow. may I suggest Pipe Cleaners
bag of 100 or so at the dollar store .

Easily formed and will give as the stems grow. also have the soft material outside that helps as well

Also I start LST at day 1 USING Hair Pins

I DONT Top but instead just run the main stem around the outer edge of the pot as it grows, I only up-pot
once into to gal plastic and use a RIM MOUNT SCROG Net from there

Oh sorry I have No Idea on AUTOs, all my grows have been Feminized PhotoPeriod seeds
I was under the impression you dont LST Auto's but again I have never run any so not sure

That seems to be the mainstream thinking, yep. However I've been following the work of some really, really good growers and a top early in seems possible with a lot of autos, outside of the really, really short growing period ones.

I think the LST you've described could work very well vice just simple spreading.

True they do fill in nicely using the Rim twist, Branching is fast and center fills in nicely

Her is a PURPLE HAZE x MALAWI 100% SATIVA at
8 weeks ( 60 days form pop) never topped

in transition to Flower (slow time change to 11/13)

Thank you all for your input, and Gazoo thank you sincerely for dropping the knowledge i did forget to say that the seeds are normal ones, i just have a couple of autos growing in the same box...
