I heard a while ago about people using sugarwater to help to add weight to there buds as it gets a bonus boost of sugar an starches..the sugars condensed a bit when dry an helped it hold its weight an not dry out too fast..I just wanted to know if anyone else heard of it an how much sugar u would add in the water an to avoid mould issues of not drying completely

Never heard of people using granulated sugar, but I have heard of a lot of people using molasses in their flower mix. I've never tried it but from what I understand it does to increase sugars/starch in the plant...... how couldn't it, you're feeding it to it lol. Not sure on the benefit.......

Sugar is not something you want in your finished product. Sugars make black ash and a harsh taste. Flush, dry and cure all that stuff out. Just my opinion.

No sugar. 1 tbsp molasses per gallon will give you all the sweetener and carbs the plant needs

I get mine from the baking isle at the store. Grandma's or Steen unsulfered molasses. Like you said Dabber 1 Tbs per gallon. I use it from week 2 in flower til week 7. I mix it with my compost tea instead of my nutrient mix.

Everyone does it a bit different. Many responses give you more ways of doing the same thing.

Well said. Molasses is great it contains potassium, calcium, magnesium, natural sweeteners, food for microbes. And its au naturale.....

Ps I noticed your Jimmy Buffett quote in the other thread. Good stuff.

Oh yeah! Liked his novelty song "Pencil-thin Moustache." The Boston Blackie kind, a two toned Ricky Ricardo jacket and an autographedpicture of Andy Devine.

I get off topic too easy.
Yeah sorry.... me too. My pops was a huge JB fan. He passed 11 years ago last month, so I always go through a phase this time of year. Too many great memories listening To A1A
