Adding more nutes if the ppm is low

So I'm just wondering if, once you've mixed your base nutes can you add more if the ppm is a little low?
I ask because I've been tola that it's very important to mix them in order A then B but if it's low you would have to mix in more A&B and I imagine it would mess up the chemical reaction or something I don't know . Is it OK to do this?
Thanks

First Welcome to 420 Magazine.

Tell me a little about what you have going on.

Type of grow
Type of nutrients

Normally the ppm's drop is in coordination with a raise in ph.

Really need more information, to answer your question, but yes you can add the nutrients separately ( just A or B) or both mixed as required.

Start a grow journal so we can follow along.

It would probably be okay if you’re talking about one of the base nutrients. If you are referring to CalMag or Silica, you could experience precipitation if you add one of these in a concentrated form at the end. You could try diluting it before addition, but there is still a risk.

Just base nutes atm. It's been around 120 since I started feeding, PH between 5.7 - 6.1. I tested the run off this morning and ppm was between 300 - 500 with a PH of 6.4 is it normal to be so much higher than the feed?
