that's what h2o2 is for. If I was growing that way I would alternate it with mollasess every other day. I think you need the water to carry the oxygen. They don't intake it that way but then again I was busy starin at Julies big hooters in biology class.:yahoo:

Well my idea was inspired by the fact that when we water our plants we let them dry out do air can penetrate the surface of the soil which in turns aireate the roots so when the soil is damp wouldnt pumping air into the medium wouldnt this further aireate the medium similiar to airstones in a fish a tanks job is to force air into the water would this not work as well with aeriateing the soil.

LOL NO

It's not a fishtank.

On your next mix, lose the vermiculite, it compacts and holds too much moisture.

My mix is very similar to promix and have been using it for years and stopped with the vermiculite about the second time I mixed it up.

Believe me, the peat will retain enough moisture.:yummy:

Save your air stone for brewing up teas.

Here's some help cause I'm a big hydrogen peroxide believer, they take in oxygen from the water.

How to oxygenate and aerate plant roots
