Adding amendments

I'm using living soil & 10% worm castings.
How much 444 & 284 to add ? The instructions say 3tbsp/gallon each. If I'm using both of them together do half the amount ?
I'm about 8 weeks in on the grow. The plants are autos.

What do you mean only amend the veg ? Do you mean just add the 444 and then once in flower only use the 284 ?
I thought it was that during the vegetative stage it was to somehow the 444 into the soil. Then during the flowering stage the 2-8-4 was applied as a top-dressing which is still a way of amending but without actively mixing the fertilizer directly into the soil.

The way I see it, during the vegetative stage we want to get more Nitrogen to the plant so it is best to maintain the amount. I like to add some of the flowering fertilizer about 2 weeks before I am going to make the switch in the light schedule. That way, when they start flowering 5-7 days after the light change they soil microbes have already been working on making the various nutrients available.

The really important thing is reading the plant so that what is needs is already there for it instead of trying to play catch-up and being constantly 7 to 10 days behind.

Thanks SW. How do the look ? They are about 8 weeks old. All autos.
