Re: A poll to see what kind of nutes are prefered.

I have used Green Air Products in the past Genesis formula 4 parts
Produces the Dank and Exotic but its been a long long time.
I am looking to get this again as I know how to fluctuate this mix.
Looking to hear about Dutch's Liquid Light and their line
Will only grow Organic but will hear all

Love the garden it will love you back,

Need to Hear about the OS Elite,

will stay in veg untill I see the Dank, Kind, Sticky, Sugary Sweetness

Do not know any new strains past 20 yrs I am an Old Newbie crazy huh:rollit:

:welcome: aboard wingman! You will find there are many growers here from "back in the day" so I'm sure there is someone here who you can walk down memory lane with. Looking forward to hearing your knowledge.

Re: A poll to see what kind of nutes are prefered.

See my post on page 5 of this thread for my grow history. Now for my facts.......
Used all the stuff I bought on my babies for 1 month ( not the bloom of course). Not happy with the results and all the mixing. I went back to SUPER NATURAL and kept the LIQUID LIGHT & WET BETTY. All I can say is WOW. The girls jumped up and really put on a growning spurt. Super Natural is also buffered so I don't have to worry about the PH. I think I am sold on this stuff. Really, give it a try. Oh about the salt build up...no problem with the Ebb and Grow system. Sold my Water Farm system to a friend. I am now 2 weeks into bloom with Super Natural aqua bloom and tarantula ( they LOVE it). Super Natural is so easy to use, no mixing and adding other ingreds. I will add a bud booster, Super Naturals, too. Good Luck and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

Re: A poll to see what kind of nutes are prefered.

Thanx SMOKE for that info.:goodjob: I just read your old post. DAmn right that oragnic leaves that film. Still love the taset that it produces, just not into the slime issue, so I dont really play w/ the organics. Great post, Grow On!!And a happy thanks giving to all as well. :bong:

:rofl:Lmfao..We're all going to be the ones going for the 4th-5-th servings. We cant denie it. Stooners favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. Smoke and eat for a day, its perfect.:rollit: Well thats after the none smoking relitives spend a lil family time them head out, then the jar buds come on out, OH YEAH:ganjamon:

Re: A poll to see what kind of nutes are prefered.

so after all these nutes have been listed, which line do you think has the clearest nutes (clear liquids like GH 3 part)? Probably go with PitViper's suggestion of H&G but had a question:
has anyone used the Dutch Masters Gold, or the DM One line ?? I'd love to have a one part nutrient like GH FloraNova that was clear liquid instead of that sludge, and the DM One states it is clear.

Re: A poll to see what kind of nutes are prefered.

H & G is a great product that I must say I will keep suggesting people to use. Works great, no film, no sludge and packs a punch. The D.M line is great. You just need to flush well with it.

Interesting for me that you ask about clear nutes. I've been using the GH 3-part, and just yesterday I got some Floralicious Bloom and Florablend at the store and added them to the mix. Both are nasty-looking, but that Florablend had some stuff floating around in it that looked extra nasty. Now I'm wondering if my sprayer's gonna get clogged up... (or the plants themselves).

yeah the floralicious is dark colored, but no gunk....never used florablend, I'm interested in using another nute brand, as long as they are clear with no solids, and no residue like the floranova line of nutes.....that crap sucked

Butch, are the D. M. line clear nutes like GH 3 part? or do they have a lot of solids?

Re: A poll to see what kind of nutes are prefered.

liquid. clear- with tint to them, but not "gunky"

thnks man, what about Canna, they look liquid/clear with color/tint..... are they gunky?

out of H&G, D. M, and Canna....what would you lean toward? would you stick with H&G, and if so, can I just use the flakes by themselves, or do I need all manner of H&G additives as well? I want a nute that I can just us it by itself without all the extra additives/enhancers...and still have good results?....this willl be my 3rd grow doing 2'x4' flood/drain hydro with Sure to Grow media in square pots, 400HPS, grow tent...thnks buddy

Re: A poll to see what kind of nutes are prefered.

IMHO..I would go withthe H&G. Its going to give oyu the best results. As far as additives go. Yeah you'll need to get some. But since your starting with babies, you have some time to get all the goodies. Think of it this way, what you put in goes into the flowers and thats what your putting in YOUR body. But if all else fails Technaflora (click the link)makes a Starters kit, for like 30 bucks. It has everything you'll need. And I mean EVERYTHING. Hats off to Technaflora for that great lil box of goodies.:bong:

Re: A poll to see what kind of nutes are prefered.

Hey Butcher, for H&G what enhancers/additives would you recommend? Also the recipe for success kit looks cool. are the Technaflora nutes clear? or are they gunky? :grinjoint:

Re: A poll to see what kind of nutes are prefered.

Technaflora is clear, and a great kit to get started with. It will do a full cucle. once you understand why you use all those additives, you will grasp the nutient proccess alot more and understand all each additive as an individual. Just a thought. They produce a some good nugz. And as you understand these additives, you can find others that will replace those nutes w/ other companies if you like. Cause no one company make all the perfect nutrients.

As far as H&G goes all of them. H&G has givin me the best results by far. And has to be very constant with their batches of nutients. I've seen inconstant nutients and have returned them. But never w/ H&G. I like to get the smaller bottles, and everytime they are the same. This says alot about a company.

So in conclusion I must say if you want some education w/ a cheap ticket, get the Technaflora.Once you've finished up and understand each nute and what its best for, then move on to the more expensive line. And if the ticket price isnt a hassle, then get the H&G LINE w// all the goodies you can. The most expensive "goody" is the roots excelerator, but your roots will be takin to another level for sure.

Re: A poll to see what kind of nutes are prefered.

ok man, i'm going to shop around and see what the costs of the H&G are, are a lot of nutes required, I mean, does it take a lot of ML/Teaspoons per gallon for them? kind of like to know if I need to get a gallon or what...thnks again man for all the info/help

since H&G says not to use an air stone with their nutes, what would you recommend for DWC systems? I will be wanting to grow my mothers with DWC most likely...

kind regards,

Re: A poll to see what kind of nutes are prefered.

Hey Butcher, I couldn't get any real feedback on Canna nutes, so i'm gonna bite the bullet and try the Aqua line for a trial, if it blows i'm going to take your advice and switch to the H&G...figure i'd go out on a limb and see if it breaks and I fall :) (I did 2 grows, one with GH 3 part, one with GH FloraNova...so i figured i'd try the Canna....i don't see too many people using them)

Re: A poll to see what kind of nutes are prefered.

I'm looking through this thread for any1 mentioning canna. And if I find it then I will p.m it to you. Otherwise please post the info on that line of nutes if you can.

I use Gen. Hydro for my DWC. Using DWC, You definetly need a clean nute. The pours on those airstones no matter how goo they are get clogged. Best of luck!!
