A new gardener saying hello

I have a tiny outdoor garden again this year. I learned a lot from last season. I made some classic mistakes. This year started off with correcting some of the obvious errors. I am pleased so far, but need some advise on a new set of issues. I look forward to getting to know my way around and maybe my experiences will help fellow new growers.

Yup, tiny

Welcome moonflowerX to 420 Magazine
These girls look to be on a great start . Good point to start a journal! On my post is a link for new members check it out and it will help getting the journal started .

Welcome @moonflowerX

It looks like you are off to a great start.

What strains do you enjoy smoking/growing?

Stay safe, and grow well my friend,

Tok.. :bong:
Hello and thank you for welcoming me. Honestly it was an odd start, I'll start a journal to explain. Left to right, Durban Poison, Gelato 33, and The Cleaner. I enjoy all three of these for different reasons.

Welcome! I’m new also. But your “little” grow looks awesome. I’m a first time grower so I’m always blown away at the photos and can’t wait for my girls to grow and teach me some lessons. Learned a lot here so far. Start up a grow journal!

Let the learning begin! It does have it's own unique way of growing with it's own set of needs.

Hello @moonflowerX hope your having a wonderful day.
Sorry I'm late.
Your girls look amazing.
Have you got nutrients for them.
@GeoFlora Nutrients would be perfect for that set-up.
Good work :goodjob: so far.

Happy Solstice everyone!
We had one setback with my Gelato that seemed a lost cause. With a heavy heart I said a prayer and let her go.
My other two are doing well. 48 inches high and 43 high. Today was the first real added nutritions I have given them. I put them on a water fast and did some bottom trimming to keep everything off the soil, enlarged their water basins and then gave them a mild mix of fertilizer water( Fox Farm-Grow Big), about two gallons each. I made a really rich mix of natural living soil to get them started but I think their vigorous growth needed some supplements. I hope this day finds you well and at peace.

Oh my, I laughed out loud reading this.

It's a statue that needed a place and a purpose in the garden. It's a scarewabbit.

It does not work, but gives us hours of amusement. These two yearlings are a crafty pair, but we seem to have reached an accord of sorts.

Thanks for the chuckles.

Welcome to :420:

Beautiful garden you have got going, sorry to hear you lost the one plant.
It was a bit sad, but it was a questionable hermi/stunted/mutant with little hope of recovery. I believe she was better suited for a controlled indoor grow. Her Indica trait made her super finicky and unable to adapt. Live and learn...or as me Mum said "To learn to be an excellent gardener, is to have no fear of setting fire to money" I guess this is Sativa territory, and that's just fine with me.
