A grower and a shower

Just wanted to introduce myself as the page suggests. I’m Dgrow and I love growing this badass plant it’s so much fun. I’m a current coco grower using auto pots and handwatering, always with advanced nutrients and a few amendments. I currently have 2 photoperiod white widows in a 4x4 and 3 purple lemonade auto flowers in a 2x4. I use Viparspectra lights and plan to use a flood and drain system in the 2x4 on my next round. That should about sum it up... happy growing and hope to hear or see from you later...

Thanks guys. Yellowing around the budsites is normal when first starting flowering, isn’t it? Last grow they didn’t do that but these white widows seem to be yellowing a bit more than I’d like... wouldn’t be light bleaching would it?

Ya cuz your pictures look good my man, in my experience the newer growth is always a lighter green, sometimes looks yellow (my eyes play tricks on me) but as the leaves get bigger they get darker green. Unless I’m missing something? But the budsites in your pics looks fine to me.

Yeah I feel like they are lighter in color cause they don’t have as much chlorophyll or something as they are new and developing. And I’ve noticed that if they aren’t exposed to light they stay a very light color also until they get some light. So yeah I’m kinda thinking that the leaves in shade also have less chlorophyll? Stoner thoughts

Ya that’s definitely normal for your newer growth to do that, all my plants new fresh growth is always a lighter green until the leaves mature and get bigger then they fill in with their color... as for the bottom leaves those should be developed and a nice green.. unless your talking about the fresh little side flowering nodes that pop out then ya those stay light green/yellow on me but I lollipop all my plants anyway so none of that small lower growth ever gets a chance to see the light, I’m sure they would develop and turn green as soon as they got some light just like you said. But... ya stoner thoughts :passitleft:
