For germination.
I let the seeds soak in water for no longer then 12 hrs. This is also recommended on seedsman website.

Heck yeah 'blurple lights matter' there's a good selection out there. I personally use miracle grow purple bulbs. With the cover popped off. Wall output is I believe 9 or 12w. However the bulb is justified with a 150w for the plant. Keeps the sprouts short and thriving til your ready to transfer them to the next phase. I usually veg between 70 and 90 days. I use one bulb for every 2 plants. 6 inches above the seedling.

One of my favorites. And also my cheapest. It doesn't have the wattage as some of my others but I've grown some premium product with it. It's a philzone ph-d8. They cost about 35$ new rn. Although they may not have been as dense, some of my largest buds have been grown with it. Red and blue wavelengths have been proven to be the best for photosynthesis.... any wavelength other then green should be viable for photosynthesis as it is reflected and not absorbed. Too far into IR or UV wavelength and the plant will burn. I love it.

"The flux" has been in the flower tent for almost a week now

Disregard the plant in the back, I grew it from seedling in a 12/12 light cycle as a test. I may be reconfiguring my setup soon to allow for additional plants and less veg time. I was also thinking about growing 12 or more plants in the 5x5 from 12/12 inorder to reduce veg time and increase production. I was also looking into drip irrigation for the set and forget simplicity.
