Malawi
Here i go with my 5th grow, its going to be a tent full of (3) Malawi sativa which is a South African sativa strain. After growing hybrids, im looking forward to a sativa grow/smoke. If it goes well i mite try a Thai or DurbanPoison next.
Im on hold kinda, had to replace my inline fan and waiting on my heater…
Im gonna germinate 3 seeds and hope for the best. I usually do plastic bags and damp papertowel on a heat mat.
Seeds are from NorthAtlantic seed company, and i always get freebies from them, (2) FemPhotoPeriods SourGorilla! i have quite the seed bank starting…
Lessons i have learned during germinating my last grow was plain (coast of maine) soil, EWC, and vermiculite, no nutes on these fragile beasts yet, i use to mix 444 GaiaGreen in the seedling soil but for this grow im not going to. I have lost a bunch of seedlings with hot soil sadly enough trying to super soil too soon. I use clear plastic cocktail glasses so i can keep an eye on the roots. Once they are ready, they’ll get bigger buckets with super soil 444 GaiaGreen and Shark Mycorrhizae
Germination will start in my nursery 2x4 tent, i have some Quantum boards, a heated seed mat, ac infinity wifi controller. The lites are rated at about 250watts each which is so much more than i really need in there. Also an ac infinity cloudforge T3 humidifier. Also an oscillating fan (heater is on the way)
For watering i have a dechlorinating station and a pump so i dont have to handle big 5gal pales of water, i simply ph and then pump the water into my sprayer. Also bubblers, im not sure if they really oxygenate the water butt who knows…
Once they are big enough to leave the nursery they are ready for the 4x4 (which needs a major cleaning). It has a Medicgrow fold-8 with the GLC-1 controler for variable lite output and lites “Sun up” and “Sun down”. There are (2) 4” ac infinity Pro T4 inlines pumping air in and out. I use dual Cloud forge t3 humidifier and a 69Pro Controler.
This is the GLC-1 for the Fold-8
Theres a slew of oscillating fans also, but not controled by anything , they are on 24/7….. since im a total AC Infinity fanboy now, i’ll probably end up replacing my fans with their programmable ones…maybe
Gonna be trying out a new product in my basement, a AC Infinity Thermoforge T3 heater. Its pretty chilly in my basement, so a little warm up will be nice. Most times its 65° or cooler…. I dont need a lot of heat, a nice 75° would be nice, the lites wont be enough to warm the tent during the days at first. This AC Infinity equipment is the bomb
Im gonna wait until my inline fan shows up for the 2x4 tent before i start the Malawi, i had to pull the one out of the 2x4 for the 4x4 had a failure in there, and the heater Such fun
And here we go again
