600 watt to much for veg.?

im vegging my clones under a 600 watt light with just a fan running on it and the plants..ten of them..is that too hot and should i jjust raise the light higher?

Hard for us to tell how hot your cabinet is. Folks usually keep the lights as close as possible without risking burning raising the lights as they grow.

for clones you should prob have that light at least 18'' above, keep the fan on low, blow the air above them. these are rooted, ya? are they in soil? give us more descriptive info about your space. but 600 is fine if its not too close, Grow On.

Too much light just for clones. Once they have a good root system you can go to 600 and keep at a distance slowly getting closer and closer
