MACHESNEY PARK -- Winnebago County sheriff's police arrested two men Tuesday morning for allegedly growing cannabis plants with a street value of more than $5 million.

Bobby C. Graham, 38, of Machesney Park and David M. Aumann, 58, of Loves Park were each charged with unlawful possession of more than 50 cannabis sativa plants.

According to sheriff's officials, deputies were dispatched to the 10500 block of Product Drive for a burglary at 7:45 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered the back window of the business had been forced open.

When deputies entered, they found a hole in the wall that led to an adjacent building where more than 400 cannabis plants were being cultivated in a hydroponic system.

Graham and Aumann were taken to the Winnebago County Jail on $25,000 and $50,000 bonds, respectively.
