I use a hybrid method, indoor/outdoor because of the humidity from the Sf bay. I bring them out when humidity drops below 60, and bring them in if it goes over, where they get led lights. The sun is better, but the humidity is what makes bad things happen. It can be crystal clear, and be at 70 percent. I’m ever vigilant against powdery mildew.
