Monthly winners are automatically eligible for our prestigious "Nug of the Year" contest in January.

Contest Guidelines:

1. Members must have at least 50 posts to enter or vote in the contest.

2. Nug/s must be your own, either purchased or grown.

2. Contest entries must be original photos of your own nug/s, taken within the last year and not previously entered in a Nug of the Month contest. The same photo cannot be entered into more than one contest in the same month. Winning entries cannot be entered into any future contests.

3. Entries must include ONLY photos of the nug/s. You may add one inanimate object as a reference point for size, or a closeup/macro. At least one photo must show the nug by itself.

4. Maximum of two photos per member. Both photos must be of the same strain or batch of nugs. Updating photos throughout the month is not allowed.

5. Please upload all photos through our Photo Gallery before submitting them to this thread.

Check out our easy to use Photo Gallery Guide - How to Resize, Upload & Post Photos

6. Self-nominations only. Past winners are ineligible for 3 months from date of win.

7. Editing Photos: You may resize and/or crop your photos, however adding text, images and frame borders are prohibited. Photos must be cropped properly, leaving no large empty spaces at top/bottom or left/right of the image.

8. Staff members from this or any other cannabis platform cannot participate in our contests. It's okay for staff to post photos in the contest for fun, however to retain the credibility of the contest, their photos will not be added to the voting polls.

9. Nugs must be dry and ready to smoke or vaporize. Any nug that appears to be too moist to smoke or vaporize will be deemed an invalid entry. No "wet" nugs please.

There are many reasons how and why a photograph can be misleading. A nug might be really dry, but the way it was shot with a little light reflection gives the illusion of being wet.

When we've confronted people in the past, we've had a 50% chance of them admitting the mistake and 50% chance of them telling us to go screw ourselves for calling them liars. Sometimes they get nasty and offended and leave the site altogether. It's a really sensitive subject and often like playing Russian roulette.

Of course people make honest mistakes, and we always take that into account. It's just a sticky situation that we get hated on from all angles, so we'd REALLY appreciate the help in sharing some of that load.

Ultimately the decision is up to us, however we'd love for you all to work together as a community to help us keep things fair and not always rely on us to confront them. So, if you all can help us peacefully monitor these wet nug entries, we feel there is a better chance of the contestant being more accepting of the decision without any of the unnecessary drama and workload that usually follows. All we ask is that you be kind, respectful and compassionate when raising the issue. Please do not insult, mimick or tear anyone down for making a mistake.

10. Campaigning for yourself or a friend, is considered cheating and will result in the entry being removed from the contest.

Campaigning includes:
  • Voting more than one time per person from multiple accounts.
  • Signature linking to the specific entry.
  • Emailing members offsite asking for their vote.
  • Sending members private messages asking for their vote.
  • Family and friends registering new accounts for voting purposes.
  • Mentioning the specific entry in any thread outside of the contest.
Second offenses will result in a lifetime ban from all future contests. General encouragement to vote in all the contests is fine, as long as it's not excessive or crossing the line into campaigning.

Contests Are Legitimate: Voting may be anonymous, but we have endless ways of catching cheaters and are always successful. If you are caught cheating, your entry will be deleted and you'll be exposed in the public thread.

In the past, we removed offending entries without announcement, to minimize embarrassment for the member. The cheaters would then claim innocence, which turned everyone against us. This led to members questioning our motives and causing extra work for our team. To avoid confusion moving forward, we now alert the community of these things when they happen.

If anyone has any questions or problems with any of the entries in a contest, please speak up in the contest thread before the end of the contest, or forever hold your peace. Once a winner is announced, that will be the end of discussion. There will be no take backs, unless we made a clerical error.

By posting a submission into this contest, it is assumed that you have read and agree to abide by each of the aforementioned guidelines. Consider your submission your virtual signature.

:goodluck: Good Luck Everyone! :goodluck:

This pheno has been my wife’s favorite.
It cures all her nausea caused by prescription meds and best of all, it smells like greasy green ripe apples 🍏🥰

Unfortunately, I did not clone this phenotype and it saddens me every time I think about it😭😭🥲

Pine Tar Kush from my last grow.
It has a kind of nutty funky taste and is a pure Pakistani indica meaning it's great for falling asleep. Not so good for punctuality.
Great entries everyone!

Here's a bud I harvested earlier this year and is now smokin' good
I cured it low and slow in the fridge and it has retained a very strong aroma and of course, very potent

You "cured" it in the fridge, Roy? Is that a thing? I assume that means dry it and as soon as it gets to an acceptable RH, seal it up and put it in the fridge?

EDIT: Lovely nuggie!

Yep - pretty much simple as that
I put it in the fridge in an airtight plastic tub when it was dry to touch but still spongy, RH went to high 60's
So I put in some kitchen towel for a week or so until it got to low 60's and just left it, only opened to pull a nug
It's now a steady 58% :)
I could jar it up now, but I have run out of jars and my cupboard is already full anyway
