Retrix's grow journal is as unique its title. His photos are a mixture of high quality, regular shots and his carefully comped images, lending the whole story a sense of mystery and magic. However the information in his journal is far from mysterious. Retrix's walk-through of his set-up is highly detailed and well illustrated: he is comfortable and confident in using new technology and app-controlled equipment to smooth the process. But it's not just about the tech. There's an excellent tutorial on seed storage and plenty of discussion and information on organic soil composition and calcium. Best of all, his plants look terrific. An engaging and very highly recommended 420 Magazine journal.
