Darcy Byers, 39, of Vancouver joined the line for Main Street Marijuana at 7 a.m. Byers, who goes by the nickname Baby Jane, owns Mary Jane's House of Glass, a chain of marijuana glass shops that is in southwest Washington including a Portland location. A daily marijuana consumer since she was 13, Byers said until now she has gotten pot from friends. Byers said some use chemicals to boost production. Under Washington's rules, all marijuana undergoes lab testing, a rule Byers thinks will better let her know what she is getting. "I'm so excited," she said. "I feel like I can actually buy pot and not feel bad about it." - The Oregonian
