Bringing you some photos of my 3-month lst grow. Started my 4 girlies indoors, eventually put them out on the balcony.

Any way to get them to stop flowering? It's only June.

Well, photoperiodic cannabis plants require a daily period of uninterrupted darkness in order to flower, so interrupt it every night, somewhere in the middle. You don't need a really strong light source, and you don't need to leave it on for any great length of time. A CFL bulb ought to be sufficient, as long as it illuminates the entire plant. You could set it on a timer to power up about halfway through the dark period. If you want to be sure, run it for an hour (although I doubt it takes that long).

What if I leave a small light the whole night running?

<SHRUGS> Then there is no night, practically speaking. I like at least four hours of darkness, but lots of people don't bother during the growth phase. Up to you.

The important thing, if you want to prevent flowering, is to ensure that there are no uninterrupted periods of darkness that are 12 hours long, or even close to it (it doesn't really take quite that much to flower).
