FAIRFIELD, Calif.—Raids on two Northern California medical marijuana dispensaries have led to the arrest of a man and two women on suspicion of dealing the drug.
Solano County Sheriff's Office Lt. Gary Faulkner says the raids Thursday afternoon were part of an ongoing 4-month investigation.
Faulkner said the raids in Fairfield and Sebastopol also netted large amounts of marijuana and cash.
Booked into Solano County Jail on suspicion of marijuana dealing were 42-year-old Cindy Harris of Novato and 24-year-old Chad Grimm and 26-year-old Jennifer Ryan of Sebastopol.
Many medical marijuana dispensaries in California operate without difficulty because of the state's medical marijuana law. Faulkner said the suspects had broken state law.
Authorities did not know whether the three had retained attorneys.
