250W MH Vs. 400W MH any difference ?

So Im starting up another grow session , but this time I wanted to try and make it perfect.
Question be will a 400W do any difference then a 250W MH? Its still in veggie stage so would that really matter with the watts?
Ive been using 250W MH on my last veggie grows and then uppin' to 400W HPS for flowering. All turned out nice but could it be better with more watts during veggie ?!
