2 Plants 1 Tent?

I am wanting to know if it’s possible to keep two plants under the same tent but will have different light schedules?
Is it possible to do?
One would be 12/12
Second one would be 18/6

is this possible ?

My little veg tent has a silver curtain that velcros in place. I've put it up in a pinch when my bloom room was running past schedule and the veg tent was maxed out but only used it for a few weeks. I imagine if doing a micro grow you could raise and veg clones in there

Just my two cents. If your plants were outside there would be star light and moonlight. That would not harm the plant. Getting too obsessed with total darkness is unnecessary, and may drive you insane.

a lot of it depends on the light being localized. a light leak in a tent represents a source light with greater intensity than moonlight or starlight. plants grown primarily indoor have less tolerance for a leak. outdoor plants near street lamps and the like are also more prone to hermie.

The moon gives off reflected light and doesn't have its own light source so it's par readings are very weak. I think around 5 par iirc.
Moonlight, lightening and eclipses have been natural environmental factors that the cannabis plant has evolved through for millennia.
It's not comparable to a light leak in a tent that can be constant with a much higher par.

I keep my veg plants, mother's and clones in a corner of my room. As long as they are kept with at least 16 hours of light they won't flower. Light leaks don't matter in veg really. Anything shorter than 16 hours of light and there is a possibility it will indeed flower. I had one in my space for six months at 15 hrs and it flowered. It was a very mature veg plant obviously. It was in the space for an extended period of time. I'm sure that these were two contributing factors.
It makes me wonder if plants in the wild start to slowly transition into flower well before they actually hit the 12/12 mark?

i'm a bad poppa with my veg space. i'll leave the door open to it even after lights out til i remember to shut it. plants in veg are not easily prone to light issues or i'd have piles, and i been like that for years :bongrip:

equatorial sativas. they live right around that mark most of their lives, and take ages to flower. once they hit transition, it is hard to reveg them.

I've always had an open veg space. Only had one hermie and she was tent raised because my veg space was full at the time.

Makes sense. The further away from the equator you get the flowering needs of the plant will change. Ruderalis sees many sun filled nights.
I think my plant that flowered at 15 hours was a heavy indica hybrid.

Thank you !!
Could I keep the clone underneath a light outside the tent ?
yes, and also clones at first don't like strong light so great idea! i'd be tempted to run light outside 24/0 and then who care about light leaks.

Ah 2 tents, perpetual style should do the job nicely.

Well it would appear a tad problem as you could be growing different strains which may have different growth habits from each other in veg / flowering & expected stretch - but some form of plant training could be used.

Ya got tiny tent 60 cm by 60 cm at best... not going to guess height, lol
