I tried inline drips...drip line...and it just leaves puddles... That looks like it would drip eavenly

Its a porous tubing i havent used it for irrigation yet but it makes excellant air injectors for hydro projects.

Yes, that's exactly what it is. I wasn't sure the water flow would be enough bit it is. Now I just need to time how long it takes a quart to finish...then multiply x4

So a quick update on the irrigation prototype. I ran a quick test and it seems like it takes about 5 minutes for a quart (32 ozs) to pass through my irrigation design. So if I had one for each of my 5 girls, it would take me about 25 minutes to water all 5 of them when they are in their SCROG. Now if I can find GALLON jugs (though admittedly harder to mount in a place that won't be in the way or difficult to fill) I could fill each one once and be done in less than 5 minutes. Option two seems much more efficient, though I will have to get very creative with where and how I mount the gallon containers. For ease of mounting, the 32 oz bottle that I have to fill 4 times would definitely be easier but less efficient. I might choose the easier option for this grow and experiment with alternatives for the 2nd grow.

Love it....one idea sparks another idea which in turn can spark another better idea. I was afraid that without anything pressurizing the tube that the water wouldn't come out on its own at a fast enough rate for this to be an effective idea. I was really pleased when I saw how constant it was dripping out. I was thinking of doing a three ring water device instead of two, but with my 5 gallon smart pots, I really think that two will be sufficient. If I went much bigger, I would probably put a 3 ring device on it. (unless I created somewhat snakeish shaped design that didn't have to go around the plant, but back and forth....hmmmmm) .

In my opinion, you are not far away from installing an electric powered drip system. You grow in a tent, you cant mount that bottles to your tents wall. An electric Pump with a timer and a reservoir could be placed at the bottom or even outside of the tent

Space in my spare bedroom growroom is kind of the biggest issue that I have to deal with. I can mount the smaller bottles around the tent posts and then somehow hang the one for the middle plant. Just not sure if in my current setup, I can swing the space for a reservoir anywhere in the room (its that crowded with the king size bed in there). I know that I will definitely be going that route when I get a place with more room Croc....but I am not seeing it in my current setup. Though I am still brainstorming. I imagine that i need to learn more about different pump setups to really definitively rule it out.

Hey Dragun, welcome to the grow! Glad to have you here and thanks for the pictures. I hadn't considered using washers to sort of elevate the soaker hose. I might have to play around with that idea, though gotta use stainless so they won't rust.

Similar to the AutoPot system. Have seen a few growers using it successfully. One even went on an extended vacation relying on the AutoPots.

Update Day 13 Flower
Girls were finally ready for a good watering so I brought them downstairs for a drink and a very minor hair cut (only fan leaves blocking any bud sites). That minor hair cut yielded a lot more leaves than I thought. Flowers are starting really develop nicely and a couple of the girls are really stretching. I decided to rearrange the tent based on what I perceive to be best for harvest. The ATFs are 70-75 day harvests and the longest so they are both under the Dwarf Star. My thinking for this is since the other strains are 55-60 (Blueberry and Blue Kush) and 55-65 (Durban Poison), that the Durban Poison will be moved to the back left under the other LED, and the Blueberry and Blue Kush will be in the middle and the front left. When they are harvested, I can remove the LED on the left side and hang the harvest while the ATFs continue to flower under the Dwarf Star.
Temps are staying low to mid 70s and the RH is still around 50%
Here is the Durban Poison, she is 16" tall from pot to top
Here is the Blue Kush. She is about 19" tall.
Here is the Blueberry (I haven't been impressed with her in the veg stage, but she is picking up steam in flower) She is 19" tall now
Here is ATF #2. She is 21" tall. The ATFs are developing the flowers at a slower rate which isn't a surprise with their 70-75 day flower time.
Here is the ATF #1. She is just over 18" tall. Flowers are developing slower like ATF #2
So in summary, ATF #2 is stretching the fastest and the Durban Poison has the best bud site development at this early point.
