Thanks LA!! It sure is coming along nicely and its amazing how much they change daily in flower phase as opposed to veg. I can see why people want to flip to flower sooner (though I will continue to grow with the intent of completely filling my full canopy in my big tent so I won't rush to flower). I am glad I was very strict on the training early on and keeping the plant short....they seem like they are going to grow quite a bit!

Flower Day 11 Update (Yesterday's pictures)

I hope all my fellow Americans had a great Memorial Day weekend and got to enjoy it. I smoke a pork butt and had a great some great eats! Anyways, the girls are continuing to grow really quickly in the flower stage. The stretch is incredible. I keep having to raise the lights daily. The tops are forming into nice flowers and are developing quickly. I can't wait. Temps are staying in the low to mid 70's and the RH is around 50%.

Clones are not doing well. They are looking really sickly. I think I might have been keeping the rockwool a bit too wet. Oh well, two of them don't look too bad so we will keep them in there until they either do what I want them to do or they die. Live and learn.

ATF #4 is looking great. I might experiment on cloning with him. It will help keep him manageable height wise and give me practice.

Here are the girls as of last night. I will post more pictures today of some of the flowers. Today is water day. I am working on a watering system for when I have the girls in their SCROG nets. I will post pics of the prototype one I have it finished.

They are growing fast!! It amazes me how much they grow in their 12 hours of darkness. The ATF #2 (the back right) is just blowing me away with its growth rate.

Looks incredible!

Tried rockwool several times, and I never could get it to work for me. It was either too wet, too dry, or my plants just didn't care for it. Oh well. I ordered an EZ Clone that will be here this week.

Very easy to over water in rockwool, commercial vegetable farmers allow rockwool to "dry back" in between water/feedings.

Well for shits and giggles I cut a branch off my ATF #4 male and just stuck it in some water with just a drop of plant food. I have cloned lots of other plants that way so I figured why not try it on cannabis. Hell I cut branches off tomato plants and stick them in soil and they grow completely new plants. I am going to try that with another cutting off of ATF #4 as well. Sooner or later I will find something that works LOL.

I really hope I can figure this cloning thing out

I think thats what I did PW. I think I will try again with cuttings from my male just to experiment, and then I will also try it in produce bags like Lembatoast does in his journal.

Yep. That was my first mistake. I cut back on watering, but finally decided I didn't like the environmental footprint either. Some people are very successful with it though.

Same here. I can usually clone with a little rooting gel and plain water, but I'm really looking forward to the EZ Cloner.

I Have been re-oxygenating the water several times a day. Looking at a small airstone to give it a try for experimental purposes

LOL....ok, I will just use what I have left and then hopefully by then I will have found a method that I can have success in. I actually opened one of the clones that was looking the worst and checked for roots. There weren't any or anything remotely looking like roots.

So have been toying with ideas for how to water the girls when I put the SCROG nets up and am no longer able to take them out and water them. So I saw Pennywise post something for his Aeroponic grow and I decided to give it a whirl for a prototype to see if it would work for watering and not putting air into the water. So this is what I came up with (yes I realize I have to put it around the girls before I attach it). Works really well. The plan will be to have one per plant and all I have to do is fill the each bottle, wait 10 minutes refill, wait 10 minutes, refill wait 10 minutes and refill one last time (4 bottles is a gallon which is what it takes to water the girls on average). I am pretty pleased with how it flows.
