I got the worklight for $10 no bulb , the bulb for $20 at walmart. Your 250 watt bulb produces 16500 lumen and is an actual 250 watt HiD unit. Almost got one myself very attractive setup capable of growing 5-6 plants to maturity if you position it properly. It has simular coverage to a 400 watt Mh light it is very safe and versatile in comparison to Mh but equally as dangerous if the bulb breaks , in North America we still do not have proper methods of handling and disposing of mercury based lights I consider CFL to be safest in handling usage though easier not to break them in climat or environment they are tough in that aspect like I find HPS is. The 45 watt lights I use produce 3000 lumen but I can not find a 2700 or less more yellow color range for them so it is limited there so I turn to HPS for middle veg and finishing using CFL still for sun up and sun down primarily , it saves 7-9 amps of energy for those hours and is still efficient I think. I think I am still drunk from last evening I should review my post later to ensure I am not talking out my butt lolWildRosebud, are they more droplight style or more fluro tube style? I haven't seen any worklight / drop / prop ones around here in the right color spectrums unless I want to buy a fluro style fixture over a CFL one... I did find a 250 actual watt hydro cfl with reflector ($50 bulb / $72 with reflector) that I'm thinking about as well... though more for veg and literal indoor veggies over the winter.
