1st DWC/Hempy Harlequin Joe - Pot of Gold - NYSD - BB - ATF '13

Well, I still haven't gotten my exhaust fan yet, but I believe it's because this was shipped in some weird way where fedex sent to the local post office, at which my landlady works, so she brings the mail home on weekdays. I'm guessing she'll have it when she gets home.

Aside from that, the room has been straightened out. I like the tent, that said, I don't trust the light blocking on the passive vents, so I covered in cardboard from the top of each vent and down the sides, leaving the bottom free to allow light to pass through (as I typed this, the landlady got home and had the fan, which is now installed and vented to the window... I'll make a sealed window cover with a hole for the venting later.

Here is the Dynasty plant I got from my mobile dispensary guy. This was the mama when he was running Dynasty. I repotted from a 1/2 gal pot Wed. We're still trying to determine how long we want to let her veg before we flower her.

The desk area is now for clones and seedlings, at least for the time being. I am thinking about dropping a few lights under for a veg area:

In the humidity dome I have the clones I am trying to get to root and reveg from flower, a few bag seed, another Sour Kush x Kiwi and Sleestack, then also 3 from the same friend which are AK47 x UK Cherry Cheese x Sour Kush. Then I have that early Blueberry clone in the mini-dwc trying to save it... it has a top shoot, the pot of gold died as I thought it would. In the beta 2 of the bubble cloners, I have 1 Harlequin Jo 2 clone that I took while training into a bonsai for a mother and 2 Dynasy clones. I also have 3 dynasty clones in a party cup at the back as well as 2 more in soil under the desk where they get fallover light down the back.

I forgot to take a pic of the actual HPS ballast... it's an Apollo Hort 400w Digital HPS running into a gullwing reflector until next month when I will get a cooltube and plumb it to the inline fan.

I'm happy, things are moving forward...

Today is week 6 in flower for the girls in the EmGarden DWC... anyone have any ideas on how bud development will change during these last few weeks?
 
That is a goal of many who garden because of love of the plant ;) I'd love to have some rockwellesque little pocket dimension of a nice garden filled with cannabis in strategic locations where the sun shines through the canopy... hmmm, too much pbs as a kid, I think ;)
 
Lol a outdoor woodland garden appeals to me I was thinking of vegging a girl to a few weeks and transplanting to a spot with a woodland clearing somewere miles away and returning a couple times. Knowing my luck it would get found by ramblers who had no clue and used it to string up there hammocks. Or it would dry out n die. The house I grew up in would of been perfect for a stealthy greenhouse grow but wev long since moved. The thought of an outdoor grow were I am now is unthinkable. The rouges wouldn't think twice of breaking in a house if they thought there was a grow. The first whiff of an outside grow and my plant would be whipped away. Oh well I can but dream
 
Right there with you... I will have auto seeds next year, so I will do some outside... even if I have to gorilla it... for this year, it's inside except for the hermie I threw out behind some trees and shrubs to live or die... I love those woodland garden images though... peaceful :Namaste:
 
ashkickin all the way! i think you will notice they use more everything,after maybe a days stall they will get plumper and fatter at a niticably faster rate! doode did you fully check that new plant for pests/disease! i have learned that the hard way! i never ever bring a new plant/cut/clone/seedling with out some quarentine time,critter will hide then swarm your garden like they pay rent! check every nook! i always mist with garden safe neem oil extract! ,ok im done crapping myself about that, love the new fresh gear! your basking in a minisun hps and im in the creepy purple of led today, how cool we got em same day! having seeds from other members is cool i think but we dont talk about the logistics of how we got them, its not really important anyway, i just say boom look what i have! or not it may all be a ruse to seem like a cool kid! and im just gleaning my pics and data from a friend, , its not like anything on the web is real ,just one big role playing game, i dig my level 50 grower/mage character,lol ya know? hehe
man i cant believe this crazy led its a beast,it makes my eyes bleed and skin burn (a good thing), did u check out the new stuff from tonight?

Yeah, went from a medical growers quarentiened garden, into the other bathroom and got neemed a couple times, then transplanted, then neemed again... now she's with the others.

From here on out, I'll be with you on the LEDs... I'll end up using the 135 3w UFOs most likely and will get them slowly, but the one HPS is definitely all the heat that room can handle.

It is cool we ended up with the new gear on the same day... I'm off to your new journal now. Can't wait to see you rock the LED... I'll be following along behind you in a month or 2 there as well :)

Greaat move on the duck tape covering them pots to hide the roots from the lights :)! So nice to see your tent bro, Im sure you are feeling much better with that new setup!! And plants as well. so much better to control the enviroment... Good weed bro, :ganjamon:
 
Yeah, I like having the new tent, for sure and the plants like having more lumens as well... I swear a couple doubled their crystals overnight... of course, it could also be the fact that I can look closer without moving the light up, lol.

I think the vegging hempys will be getting moved into 2 gal hempy containers in the next week or two as well... let them get big before putting them in the tent, lol :)
 
well i cant find any info on dynasty at all!,so after looking at the pics it seems to be a hybrid perhaps sativa dom(leaf shape & lighter green),so it could stretch a bit but you cant really tell that from looking,i see its got alot of 3 finger fans,to me that indicates some posibilities of stress from odd light schedules,low light,or from donating clones/cuts,if at the top shes putting out 5 fingered fans then she is more or less over it,but theres also some strains that only grow 3's, since you repotted already,( a bigger pot would be better for a plant that size) if she is showing new growth daily then i would say take a few cuts & flower her, and be ready to lst, or to help prevent a big strech a week or 2 under glr (gas lantern routine light schedule) would give her a nice build up of flowering hormone and she would shift into flower faster, its your call of course ,& you could always hack 2/3rds of her down & veg for 3 weeks and shape her how you like via lst,scrog etc,you have a few options but with her being so much taller than the rest it can make it tricky to get ample light to the rest of the ladies, i would prob chop & veg a bit under glr then flower, hope that didnt make things worse lol

I took clones the same day as repotting... just waiting for them to root now.

She is a big girl and you're right, sativa dominant hybrid, very good mood elevator and daytime med, but without too much jitter. I'm not sure if it's a local strain or another one of those which has multiple names in different regions.

She went from a 1/2 gal to about 2 gal or so... I also started to LST her to spread some of the branches a bit... I was thinking the same though, she's gonna be a beast... I don't have any bigger pots right now though, so that 2 gal cat litter is as big as it gets unless I want to put her into a 5gal wally bucket I use for draining run off when I feed the hempys... I'll check on the leaf count on new growth later... she had new tips forming this morning. She was neglected for the last month as he wasn't using her anymore and just waiting for me to have a space for her... I'm hoping the move to 4 times the pot size helps her... I am seriously debating the wally bucket though, maybe end of next week, then another couple weeks to veg and train, then flower... guessing on that though... depends on how long I can cram her where she is, really, lol.
 
Thanks Bill... I'm already loving it... I'm monitoring it today to see how badly I'll need the cooltube, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be a requirement, even in our climate, so that's next month's purchase for the tent :)
 
the cool tube will make a world of different if i continue to use the hps's im gonna get another cool tube,air moves much faster thru them than the big square one,its a straight shot,rather than the air bouncing all around inside before leaving i saw thermal videos and the tube is much faster and cooler:thumb:
 
Sweet... it's going to be a definite purchase since it definitely raises that room's temp by 12 - 16*, lol.... of course, opening the tent and the room's door vents a lot, but it shows me that the cooltube is a must :)

Also, all new growth on Dynasty is 5 leaves.

Sleestack x Skunk sprouted a twin from the rapid rooter cube... this is a first for me... took me about 2 seconds to realize that my vision wasn't splitting, lol.
