184W - Iced Grapefruit - Scrog

Hi!
Thought I would start a journal as this is my first attempt at hydro.
After messing with soil indoors with small lights and being disappointed completely I have decided to go with a DIY Ebb and Flow.

Here goes
Strain: Iced Grapefruit - Indica 60% Sativa 40%
System: Ebb And Flow tray With Canna clay pebbles and 33 litre Reservoir
Lights: 8x 23w spiral cfls custom wired. Different spectrums for veg/flower - 2700k/6500k
Ventilation Passive inlet with 150mm 250cfm axial extractor fan ducted from lights to outside.
grow space600mmx600mmx1800mm custom made single door cab with adjustable lighting shelf.
aeration 6" airstone in res connected to 50L/h air pump

Veg time will be 4 weeks hopefully and with the given lights I assume flowering will take roughly 9 to 10 weeks

Nutes Dutch master gold one grow and flower
Light Scheduleveg 24/0
Flower 12/12

R/H50%
Cab Temps 18c-27c
Flood/drain cycle 15min flood every 2hrs
Apparently they wont let me upload a photo yet but im 3 weeks in on veg and lookin damn healthy.

Got up this morning and this is what I saw.
3 Days after topping and as is would seem no slowed growth.
I cannot believe how vigorous and resilient this strain is.
Could also be this is my first hydro so growth will be quicker than soil. Either way im gob smacked.

Quick update bumped nutes up to 370ml/33 litres water.
Nice new growth at the topping site Luvin it.

Not much change today. Bit bushier.

I am going to add the screen in just over a week hopefully

Then I will switch the bulbs to 2700k and start 12/12 light schedule to induce flowering. Looking for just over an ounce. Will be happy with that.

Update for Friday 1st of may. Growth really taken off.
I have been raising the lights 32mm a day.
We have just hit the start of week 4 veg and going strong

Hi bro nice update! i recommend to give a bit less nutes because Ur plant dark green and the tips of the fanleaves curled(<<<issues of N toxicity)
