16/8 veg state vs 12/12 veg state from seed

Hi guys,

I was wondering if I should be following the light cycle of the sun in my area which is close to a 12/12 before acclimating it to outdoors and transplant to soil?

I’m currently on day 14 of veg.

I started with a 16/8 cycle and switched to 12/12 5 days ago.

Any and all advise is greatly appreciated.

12/12 will force them to start into flowering cycle, if that's what u want

If they are going outside like now, cool.
But if not I'd let them veg at 16/8 until you move them outside to increase their size and yield

Edit

no transition time is needed when yo do move them, they will adjust just fine

Right on!! Thank you CS. You validated what I was looking for. I def don’t want them to flower sooner. The weather here has been cool and damp.

Longer the veg the better for me at this moment.

Cheers mate.

I will be changing my timers to 16/8 first thing tomorrow morning. I’m hoping to put them in the ground between day 25-30....

I am not equipped for indoor and have way too many plants. Lol 28 to be exact ‍♂️
