The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) has seized over 120 pounds of ganja, which was washed up on the shores of Cayman Brac and Little Cayman over the last few days.
On Saturday, July 21, a local resident initially alerted the RCIPS to a single package that had washed up near the Brac Reef Resort.
Further shoreline checks were made by police and customs officers on the two sister islands. During the searches, a further 34 packages were found along the south shores of both islands.
All the ganja is currently in secure storage and will be destroyed.
