12-72 hour blackout before harvest?

Living in Oregon has been great lately. I have some plants that are at 7 weeks, been hitting the KoolBloom and had to tie up the sagging branches. Almost done with about a week or so left I've been hearing about this blackout for 12-72 hours to increase THC potency, anyone use this method? Does it work? Thx O

Hi and welcome Mist. Ive never done it myself but a lot of experienced growers do recommend it. Ive heard most people say between 24-48hrs.
