its my first time growing and i was told my plants were ready for 24 hour darkness,so i did that and then two weeks later i took it upon myself to start the 12/12 cycle...have i done the wrong thing? now im really worried incase iv messed up....
one other thing,thanks to all the info on this site,i was able to sex my first ever plant this morning..lol..it was an amazing feeling,thanks to all who post..

If the plants are looking good, no harm no foul.

The way I've heard it done though, is 24 hrs of total darkness, then on the next day's light cycle, the timer is switched directly into 12/12, not a week or two later.

Remember not to interupt the dark cycle, 12 hrs means 12 hrs. Too much light disturbing their dark cycle and you may have issues.

yeah your supposed to do the dark period IMMEDIATELY following with the flower period... it is to reset the plants clock from veg times into flower times, and i do 30 hours dark.
