10 Years Celebration From First Grow

not looking good and still has the shell on head
you should be able to help peel that off in a day or so. Had that several times, they take a bit longer to get going, but should probably survive just fine.

Just wondering, how do you plan to control the heat in that tent? I found I had to use a cooling hood to not get the tent temps over 30C and I was still hitting the high mark quite often? Vent to outside the house?

Very good question!

Only in summer it's hot in here, now it's winter and if it's not cold and snowing then the weather it's like today, fog and rain and about 1-2 celsius. Till the end of March on day temps are max 15 celsius, by night 5.

At this point I have only that big fan pointed into the lamp to circulate the air and also not making a hot spot. Should recive my order with the vents and some extra nuts by wednesdsy and the super spreader also. The setup it's just on, but there are more to come.
At this point I dont need extractors as I leave the vent door open and the bottom trais as you can see in pics
My windows are blinded so that light it's not a problem. The balcony door is open and the windows from balcony are open also, outside temp 2 celsius so we are cool so far.

Yes I will make an intake with fresh air straight out of the balcony and another one to take the heat out along with a carbon filters and 2 fans for air circulation (I wont use this big guy for the entire grow, he's too old for this, hahah).

:Namaste:

I just did, hope I didint stress her out too much, got help from a toothpick, lol
Here's the result:

And by this I'll make today's update :

Looking good and no problems so far for this remote grow.
Day 1 is over as we have 28 hours since we light it up so we start day 2..

:Namaste:

hope I didint stress her out too much
Doesnt look too bad, and she can now start taking up nutrients and do what she does best :p

Regarding your temp situation, should you find you are hitting consistent high temps, consider a cooling hood. Its a closed unit where you pull the air through that you exhaust. Its a great way to take off the edge if required.

I'll consider that if temps goes too high
At my last grows I had 25-26 in this period with almost same methods and setup space and a maximim of 30 in summer time. I should be fine, but it'll keep in mind if things goes nuts, lol. thanks:Namaste:

Hope to find ya'll well!

Comin with some new updates.

day#4 is over and we started day 5.

Kids recived today the transplant to bigger pots (26l or 9 gal) but they are filled 23l on measure.
Today I got 2 small clip fans, for the moment I use them to get air in and out the tent (use them as extractors but they dont do the same job - extractors coming soon -)

started feeding with Voodoo Juice and Prihana from Advanced Nutrients.

Nuts are 6-6.5 Ph range
Lights - 24/0
Temps -... I dono, hope to get the thermohygrometer tomorrow along with the extractors and the super spreader.
Lights are 60cm top plant to bulb.

Here are some photos also

To begin with, this will be my team, nothing more

the fans

the fans attatched
the top one to get the hot air outside the tent

this one is on bot side, for some fresh air (behind him is the open door from the balcony so it gets some freh air even like this)

made like 1.5-2cm of perlite on bot of the pot

made size holes to transplant safe and treat the soil with 2ml Piranha on each hole

I made the transplant how I like it - before roots start to get rotund in the nursery pot -

Here are some healthy roots

Made the nuts into 6-6.5 Ph range

and the kids in the tent with new pots fresh soil

this one is "The Strechy one"

and this one is the "no-chance-for-life"... well looks like she decided to go for a run, haha

Thats it for today from our garden, see ya soon with new updates.

Till next time, keep em green and stay safe! :Namaste:

Thats an impressive amount of nutes there :o I would so mess that up o_O

Looks like you are off to a great start, looking forward to seeing that transform in a forest :)

That 'intake fan', will you change that for a ducted fan once you go to flower to prevent light leaking in? I'm using passive .. I just extract air from the tent and stuck a hose in the intake, with a light baffle. Underpressure takes care of the rest.
Never seen someone use a circulation fan in the intake opening .. curious, might learn something?

Hi there!
I said on my prev post that
"Today I got 2 small clip fans, for the moment I use them to get air in and out the tent (use them as extractors but they dont do the same job - extractors coming soon -)"

so no, I dont use the circulation fans for intake.

But was a good question, if I was to see similar post as mine I would think the same. haha.
Happy to answer

Starting today I bring fresh air with a 190m3/h vent mounted on the bottom side of the tent, this is the only light leaking atm.

This is the guy - 125 mm with 190m3/h

and through a flexible... (imma say) connection (sorry for my english) mounted the vent out in the balcony for fresh air and looks like this

and now the circulation fans are on the right place, one on top and one on the bot of the tent and the big(fan) guy I keep for the bulb to dissipate the heat and not making hot spots (or at least this I hope)

I'm still waiting for the super spreader to come...

Also tomorrow I'll bring humidifier as I have 35-40% atm and about 26 celsius with fresh air intake and 29 withouth intake.

temps after 18 min with intake off

temps after 12 min with intake on

Growing plants will help raise the humidity as well .. looking really good .. sorry I missed the comment on the intake :D
No worry, I havent bully or something, it was a good point and a good question. If a newbie (me 10+ years ago) would come here and read this, he might wanna know the answer. So no worry at all. I like to make the journal step - by-step :Namaste:

As for the humidity, I'll sort it out tomorrow first thing in the morning, just have to buy some RO or distiled water, humidifier is ready to go, haha

Stay safe :Namaste:

Hi everybody,

Some quick updates for today:
the super spreader has arrived;
the humidifier been placed into the tent and filled up with distiled water so I dont make spots on reflector, light bulb, walls and so on;
the lights are still 24/0;
the temps are on 30 celsius max with a max 73% and a stable 60%rh;
the transplant was a succes with no stress at all.

Now let's see some pics also

When get into flower imma mount the carbon filter also and this will be the setup till harvest.

Just a quick... off-topic question for you..
What light would fit into this space?
View media item 1857294
A 400 or a 600w?

Just for info, I have a very small, closed room, used for... pickles and deposit stuff now it's empty so I wanna place 2 more seed into soil and use it.

Hi there farmers, growers, stoners and all undercovers, hahah

Here are some quick updates on garden:
so we are starting W2-D13 since sprout
Lights are 20/4 since 2 days ago
Temps 26-27C with 48-50%rh lights on and 20-22C with 50%+ rh lights out.
Nuts are still just voodoo and pirhana on a 6.5 ph.
All are doing fine, almost same size (just the lazy one is smaller, but healthy)

Here are some photos I took when lights where off in first 10-15 min when I also fed them.

the Night Queen

Think I'll start some training next days or as soon as they reach 15-20 cm (I'm a bit affraid of autos as I dont have that veg window and I dont have much experience with them - second grow with autos-)

Till next time, keep em green:Namaste:

Hope ya'll good today!

Some quick updates
Had on soak 4 more seeds, 1 even cracked and show root while in water water, the rest of 3 just soaked onto the bottom of the galass so I pot em all.
They are all bag seeds, hope to get at least one female to play with (i dont mind if they are all 4 fems by the end)

As for the room, have the temps under control, humidity also. Kids lookin good, happy and healthy.
Inna day or 2 I'll start some LST and hopefully to strech enough while still in this short veg period and begining of preflower, when I'll try the ScrOG (first time so hope to make it even with autos - if not, I'll stay with LST, still better than Christmas tree, hahah

Any advice on how to prop. train em for the future screen?

Keep em big and green! :Namaste:

L.E. I left the window a bit cracked, 6 hours ago where like 2C and 50%rh outside.... well, now it's snowing, real feel - 11 and 86%rh, can't check on em at this late hour (wasnt a problem if I havent consumed 4 beers with same amount of joints, so cant drive, lol)
I'm really curious to see tomorrow on gauge the min and max.
