1 ballast 2 light fixtures 1000 watt each - What this called?Find it where?

i have heard tell about the existence of a ballast that is able to control two lights and use the power of one fixture. Anyone have a direction or name of what this is called? or is it even real?

Hey thanks "Jj bones". Kinda been doing an informal poll with shop owners/workers not sure if it is a good idea. Ones that were more than happy to get ballasts for me said on another time in that they tend to burn out half side and affect harvest. So for now I am going to not plan on any changes just this minute WHHooaa nellie slow down. I believe I read it on here(420) K I S S so i will uumm huum dag gummit.
 
I have a 600W DUAL Lumatek Digital Ballast - 240V that runs two 600 watt bulbs at once it is dimmable at 300 400 600 and supper lums got it on amazon for $ 300 I love it.
