lighted

Hello guys! This is my first post here, please do correct me if I posted in the wrong section. So, I have a purple kush which is about 1.5 months old and I was wondering how long should the plant be lighted? does the lamp's color matter? (white light, yellow light)? Cheers and Thanks!
