light/dark

Hi Everyone, Newbie, first time grower here... My girls are looking quite nice and lush, but when do I start the light/dark cycle to encourage flowering/budding??? Is there something I should be looking for on the plant? Or just start the cycle when I "feel" it's time??? My girls are in...
