Oh forgot to ask, your temps dropping to lower 60s... is that from a lights out cycle ( running at 18/6 ) or do you run 24/0 and it dips that low? And last question, if temps are in the 70's is growth good? Sorry for all the direct questions I am just frustrated I spent so much on LEDs and now have winter problems and have to buy another system and before I do want to make sure I solve my temp issues if I go with the 315, and thought I have read lots of online reports of them don't have conclusive answers so I wanted to reach out to someone who was growing with the same light in the same size room from another colder winter part of the country. Hi I signed up to 420 forum after reading all of your grow journals as I am interested in buying a SS 315 CMH, same one as you run. I don't know how to PM folks here so I hope this message gets to you... my dilemma is I am in the North East US and it is cold now and my LEDs are struggling with the low temps and I need to buy a winter light. I wanted to ask you about temps, as I would be running it in a 3x3 same as you. My intake temps from the room the tent is in are 60-62 and I was wondering what I could expect to see for temps inside. Yours seem to run 64-low 80's... what are your room intake temps? 64? I just don't want to buy this light and struggle with temps. With my LED it goes to 70-75 but the leaf temp is lower than room temp with LEDs and the plants don't transpire enough causing nutrient deficiencies and poor growth.
