Outdoor growing does have its pros and cons which I myself have had to deal with numerous times over the years.
Thank the stars above that it was just a young un and not a six foot tall bush full of flowers which I had a gopher tunnel up under some years back and eat the stalk killing the plant dead in less than a few days. It happens to all of us at one time or another!
