1 tip here, looks like not enough perlite for one and I see no holes in your solo cup. Make some little holes in bottom and lower half of cup. Make sure perlite is about 1/3 of your mix or better yet use @Bill284 layering method. Try that next time then we can talk more about the soil etc.
