I use a light proof black zip lock back or whatever works to keep the light from the seeds. Also be sure to use Damp Not soaking wet paper towel to germinate your seeds I've also used paper plates too. Be sure the temp is at least 70 to 74 Fahrenheit. Check on them every 8 hours to be sure they don't dry up.
