Is this what a make plant looks like?
I'm attempting to make a female plant produce pollen (called "reversing" the plant) using Silver Thiosulfate spray. There are a few different chemicals that will do it, but not every one works on every variety of plant. I've tried two others sprays but this is the first time I've gotten a plant to produce pollen sacs.

Now I just hope there is pollen in them, so I can use it to pollinate female flowers and make seeds!

Lol a make (male) plant what is that??? omg finally someone who understands my lingo lmao wow sounds so advanced for my newbie brain but so interesting,:blunt: so dumb question of the day… why not just use male seeds?

And I am absolutely terrified of the hermie lol no, really I am. Can they turn at any point, am I still at risk of my babies turning into hermie’s?

There are two types of seeds: regular and feminized. Regular seeds have a standard 50/50 chance of producing either male or female plants. They're cheaper when you buy them because you may have to throw out half of your plants as they grow if you only want females (unless you are looking to breed plants for more seeds!).

Feminized seeds are almost guaranteed to produce female plants, and feminized seeds are produced by reversing a female plant to get it to produce pollen (as I'm doing). Use that pollen to pollinate female flowers and you will get feminized seeds.

The variety of cannabis I'm trying to make seeds from was only available in feminized seeds, and the seeds are no longer available.

Under stress, some varieties tend to hermie, and a few are known to hermie under the best of circumstances. Usually the stress comes in the form of light leaks in the tent or timers that screw up (on their own ;) ) and mess with the 12/12 in flower.

Other than that, hemies are usually rare with commercial varieties of cannabis, as that trait is bred out during stabilization process before sale (we hope).

:thumb: Totally get now! Thanks so much for taking the time to explain these things to me IRT. I’m sure you can just as easily refer me to google like so many do theses days. which is a totally awesome tool but sometimes, I just want/like to talk it out w a real person lol:48:
