No. I’m up near SE Alaska. The muskeg here has always been basically uninhabited and the ancient village sites are all in prime spots by the ocean where all the action is around here, with a few historic summer camps by river mouths and such. The bog highlands have never been lived on or utilized by people much except mainly for some berry picking and herb gathering in summer.
I do come across plenty of artifacts locally- old stone tools, jewelry, etc, but not in the peat.
